Nurturing Optimal Growth

Tongue ties can be complex—sometimes they’re obvious, reaching the tip of the tongue, while other times they’re less apparent, like a “posterior” tie. Despite this, the challenges they create are clear: painful nursing, slow weight gain, reflux, tension, and colic-like symptoms. Unfortunately, we’ve often heard from parents who’ve had their baby’s tongue tie released, only to find that the problems persist or even worsen.

This inspired us to dig deeper and create a program that doesn’t just focus on the tie itself, but addresses the full picture. Our approach is a collaborative effort with some of the most skilled providers in the region, designed to uncover and treat the root causes while minimizing the need for surgery. If a frenectomy is necessary, our program ensures optimal outcomes by preparing your baby for success.

We’re proud to offer a unique, conservative, yet comprehensive program for families navigating tongue tie concerns. Our approach goes beyond the typical treatment spectrum, addressing not just symptoms but the root causes to support your baby’s feeding, growth, and overall well-being.

Here’s what sets our program apart:

  • Holistic Evaluations: We start with an assessment of primitive reflexes by occupational therapist, craniosacral therapist, and lactation counselor, Kelsey Baker, to ensure your baby’s foundational movements are supporting their development.

  • Comprehensive Manual Therapy: Our osteopath, Dr. Sylvia provides gentle, hands-on care to release fascial strain and improve body alignment.

  • Oralase Therapy: A non-surgical laser treatment that promotes tissue healing and function.

  • Integrative Dental Care: A holistic pediatric dentist, Dr. Joanna, evaluates and treats tongue and lip ties with a focus on airway development and orofacial growth.

By addressing underlying issues like fascial strain, cranial nerve compression, and endocrine dysfunction, our program helps families transition from challenges such as painful feeds, reflux, colic-like symptoms, and tension, to easeful feeding, restful sleep, improved breathing, and joyful play.

What truly makes our program unique is its focus on the whole family ecosystem. We guide families in tuning into each other's nervous systems, fostering connection and co-regulation for a calmer, more harmonious environment.

This is more than a treatment—it’s a pathway to thriving for your baby and your family.

Investment: Initial treatment includes Oralase, Oral exam, Osteopathic manipulation, and OT/CST. A two week follow-up visit is included with each provider. We highly encourage for both parent and baby to get treatment.
